Elanora
In this Elanora home, TermiGold bait was used to eradicate a very aggressive type of termites called Schedorhitoermes, which multi-colonise (meaning there is often more than one nest in a property). The termites were discovered in the laundry, hallway and lounge room internal walls, they had tracked in from a constantly leaking water pipe coming from an external hot water system. Overtime the water from the pipe had diluted the chemical from the barrier that had been installed 2 years previously.
To get rid of these termites, TermiGold bait was applied directly onto all the active areas where the termite were as this was the best way to eliminate the colony and mitigate the ineffectiveness of the chemical barrier. The bait effectively eradicated the colony, and a new barrier was installed to ensure ongoing protection.
